Daniel Mullarney Headshot

Daniel Mullarney, a graduate of the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami is a music educator and musical theater director. He is currently pursuing a masters degree in Conducting Opera and Musical Theatre at Ithaca College.  During the summer of 2017, he was the Assistant Music Director of Guys and Dolls at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Auburn, NY under the musical direction of Corinne Aquilina.  Guys and Dolls has been nominated for 9 Salt Awards including best musical direction!  

 

Dan's directing credits include Oliver and Crazy for You (director & choreographer) at Southern Cayuga CSD, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (music director) at Gulliver Preparatory School, Seussical (director & music director) at the Baldwinsville Theatre Guild.  Dan has appeared as the piano director on all productions above and Keyboard 2 player for Bonnie and Clyde at Covey Theater Company.

 

 

Dan's teaching and performance credits include music teacher at Southern Cayuga CSD and choir director at the United Ministry of Aurora. He student taught at Dr. Michael M. Krop High School in Miami, Florida collaborating with Dr. Gary Keating.  He has performed at Carnegie Hall with the Frost Chorale under the direction of Karen Kennedy and teaches private piano and voice lessons.  (See Contact/Hire Page) Dan has performed in productions of Titanic (Barrett), Beauty and the Beast (Beast), Peter Pan (Slightly), The Music Man (Tommy Djilas), and You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (Schroeder).
